Our Freisa grown in Tracy Hills, California, has aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, baked fig, cinnamon stick, mulled wine spices, and clove with grippy tannins. (Freisa is an Italian grape variety grown in the Piedmont region of north-west Italy, primarily in Monferrato and in the Langhe regions. Through its parent-offspring relationship with Nebbiolo, Freisa is a half-sibling of several Piemontese wine grape varieties.)
